Ministries

Monthly Young Adult Mass and Dinner
On the second Sunday of the month members of the MCF young adult community (that's you!) provide all of the ministries for the 5:30 PM Mass at St. Mary's Cathedral.  After Mass, we walk to a nearby dining establishment to share food and fellowship.

If you have ever wanted to learn a ministry, this is a great opportunity to do so.  We will train you before Mass (no experience required!) and we always need volunteers!

If you would like to volunteer in a ministry or have any questions, please RSVP to Anthony (anthony@mcfpdx.org) by the Wednesday before each month's Mass.

Theology on Tap
This nationally-recognized, incredibly popular series is back!  Join us at the Lucky Lab Public House in Multnomah Village to explore your faith, listen to knowledgeable local speakers, and participate in spirited discussions.

We typically have a large group of people at every session.  Come to one or all of the sessions - whatever you can fit into your schedule. The sessions are typically held every Thursday at 7:00 PM during the months of October and May.

Girlfriends in Grace
Come rejuvenate your faith in a relaxing environment with 'girl talk', bible study, and good-ole’ awe inspiring revelation. Typically held on the third Friday of every month. Contact Jessica (jessicac@mcfpdx.org) to RSVP.
Blanchet House Service Event

Help serve lunch at the Blanchet House of Hospitality.  The Blanchet Organization's mission is to feed, clothe, and shelter those in need in downtown Portland.  The men who live at the facility help to run it.  We will be helping them serve lunch in their soup kitchen that serves 3 meals a day, 6 days a week.

For more information about the organization, please see their website: http://blanchethouse.org/site/

MCF typically volunteers with the Blanchet House on the second Saturday of the month. For RSVP information, contact Emily at emilyb@mcfpdx.org
